The combination of yak and merino provides body temperature regulation and odour resistance, and the addition of the Coolmax Eco™ keeps the body dry.

Our Hima-Layer™ Neema fabric consists of 20% yak wool with 40% merino and 40% recycled Coolmax polyester and comes in at 160gsm.

Care Guide

Can be machine washed at 30°C. Do not use softener. Close any zips, wash with similar colours in a washing bag and dry on a line or rack.

Giving back to the Himalayan nomads

kora was founded with the aim of supporting the communities of the Kegawa Herders' Cooperative, by buying their yak wool directly to create our layers.

A collective of more than 90 families in the Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, our friends live all year around at 4,500m.

We buy this wool at a set mid-market rate throughout the buying season in order to offer price certainty, and in addition we pay a 10% stipend.

Light & Comfort

Good quality base layer for summer time, considered I live right under the equator region. Neema LS Crew is very light and comfort for all day long activities and I'm very surprise with the quality of the product. You guys at Kora done a great job for good quality product and also supporting local communities for Himalayan nomads.

I was sold on merino - but wow- these products are phenomenal! Once you buy, you will be replacing all your current base layers and outdoor kit!. I have just worn this top for 10 days with no smell. Certainly cuts down on packing!
