Beautifully crafted, designed and produced piece of gear. Keeps me toasty warm no matter where I am….in brutally cold Ukraine!

I’ve only worn my Yushu bottom and top a few times but and I'm very pleases with how they perform. They are much warmer than I was expecting. The real test will be how they hold up during the next year. Most of the merino wool products I have purchased in the past have tended to not be durable and start to break down within the first year of use which is why I have tended to gravitate to synthetic base layers that don’t have that issue.

This is my 6th Kora product - all of them superior quality.
The Yushu bottoms is a very nice and comfy base layer under my gore-text shells on lightweight trekking and cross-country skiing; they also ensure I can sit still for hours on wildlife monitoring tasks at temperatures around the freezing point . I love them and they will be on top of the packing list for future trips.

The Yushu Bottoms fit is slightly large so if you (like me) have measurements "between sizes" definitely go for the smaller options (I'm 1.84 m tall, 75 kg, long legs - size L fits perfect).
I had to swap my originally ordered size XL to a size L, and the customer services at Kora were very responsive and helpful.

I recently purchased the Yushu bottoms. This purchase also included the Yushu top. My reason for purchasing was that I wanted a warm and proven wool base layer for a multi-species solo hunting adventure into the Wyoming (USA) backcountry from middle to late October 2022. These did not disappoint. I am 5'11" tall, 32" waist, and weigh in at a lean 184# . On me, size medium was not quite an athletic fit but yet not quire a relaxed fit. I would say more athletic in fit but not skin tight like, say, Under Armor Cold Gear. They were warm and their breathability was evident when hiking up 2000 feet in elevation under load. When I first put them on, I detected an ever-so-slight scratchy sensation. However, after a few minutes of wearing them, that disappeared. The Yushu bottoms (and tops) are an excellent choice, among the many wool brands available, for a base layer in cold weather conditions.
